Happy Birthday, Dad. – Instagram
Matt Ogus, Physique Coach on Instagram: “Happy Birthday, Dad.He probably won’t ever see this, but I love you-One of my favorite of his stories is when he was just a little boy, his parents asked him if he could break a dollar. He said yes and gave them a handful of change, the coins adding up to one dollar. When he asked for the dollar bill in which he just gave change for, his parents refused to give him it, and they told him that’s way too much money for any child to have (he was 6-8 years old). They straight up just took his money 😂-Anyway, in his birthday card today, I wrote “never forget – one dollar is WAAAY too much money for any child to have” and in the card was a one dollar bill. Brought him right back to his childhood lol. (He was born in 1935). -My dad was born in Brooklyn, New York I believe, and then spent much of his childhood in Queens. Joined the Air Force and worked on Cameras and maintenance for surveillance planes. After his service he moved out to Cali on a wild adventure – not knowing anyone or having a job lined up. Ended up working for the state and then government contractor at McClellan Air Force base.-Anyway, I’ll leave it at that for now, just wanted to say Happy Birthday Dad ❤️”

Matt Ogus, Physique Coach on Instagram: “Pretend ALL gyms open, but you’re only allowed to do ONE of the following for the next 3 months.Which do you pick???1. Powerlifts only, at 3:30 AM: 3 exercises – Squat, dead, bench (no variations) in any rep range you choose, up to once on per day, max session length 30 minutes. No preworkout, caffeine, or music. And you have to do keto. No water during or within a 1 hour radius of your gym session.2. Any exercise but the weight HAS to be in the 15-20+ rep range. Maximum 2 sessions per week, 45 minute time limit per session. But you also have to be Vegan and self-isolate with just members of your household when outside the gym.3. ANYTHING YOU WANT, any time, no limit… BUT you have to literally leave at least 5 good reps in the tank on EVERY set. If you train harder, If you leave less than 5 reps in the tank on any single working set, you get no gym for the rest of the 3 months. 4. CrossFit – no limits, any day/time that matches your local CrossFit box – THEY decide the workouts/standard CrossFit programming – BUT… they blast Justin Bieber’s first album and you can’t consume more than 0.5 grams protein per pound body weight per day during the 3 months. Violation = back to home/body weight workouts.
